Introduction to NEFL: Contribution Form
The National Endowment for Liberty is dedicated to the preservation of America's most perishable resource: Individual Freedom. We believe that through the effective use of video presentations, sufficient numbers of people can be reached consistently to advance public understanding of the principles of a free society. By framing contemporary issues and events in other than "news of the day" terms, the "At Issue" television series extends its shelf life to permit multiple showings and classroom applications.
Leading public policy research organizations contribute to these programs, including:
Heritage Foundation Competitive Enterprise Institute Cato Institute Foundation for Economic Education The George Edward Durrell Foundation National Taxpayer's Union Drug Policy Foundation Citizens for a Sound Economy Institute for Humane Studies National Center for Policy Analysis …and others.
"At Issue" breaks ranks with traditional public policy discussion programming by looking at contemporary problems from the point of view of individual liberty and responsibility.
The series is entertaining and fast-paced, with dozens of recognized people and experts that give credibility to our series such as Economist Dr. Walter Williams; Senator Charles Grassley; syndicated columnist Joe Sobran; John Fund of the Wall Street Journal; and actor Jimmy "J.J." Walker. George Hansen talks about the IRS; Congressman Phil Crane about privatization; Admiral Elmo Zumwalt, formerly of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, about foreign policy; Tom Bethel, Washington Editor of American Spectator. and Fred Smith of the Competitive Enterprise Institute, about the U.S. Constitution--and there is much more. As Big Government tries to sell socialized medicine to America, and the entire world struggles to recover from the ruins of 20th Century socialism, we offer:
Television Series Video Tape Contents and Descriptions:
